Darwin 200 is being force dried on the terrace in the sun. The lid is always the last to dry. I HAVE to fire it today or it will not be ready in time for the show. So it is first firing today, Saturday. Glaze firing tomorrow and unpack on Monday. Well that’s the plan.

Ta da! I do however think you are a little crazy to place said pot on the edge of your roof... all it would take was a mad Swallow and.. well, the pavement below would have a very decorative surface of unfired pottery shards.
WELL done mummy on your latest creation - Ta da indeed!!!
xx
It's fine and spent the day up there yesterday. I don't want to be smug but I have trained all the swallows now to fly around solid objects.
Pot is now in the kiln but still damp in the lid so very slow. Just finished a bonus fish dish that I forgot I had made and was in the damp cupboard so that is in too. Photo later today.
Darwin is amazing, so beautiful, I would be afraid I would trip and drop the pot of the roof. I've forgotten I made things before too, I had to laugh at that. Hope all goes well in the kiln.
