Fiesta time in the our nearest big town and once again the window dresser outdoes herself with this stunning collection of laundry and household cleaning products that quite frankly just draw you in off the street. It makes you want to throw all caution to the wind and blow your entire housekeeping budget on such well known products as LUZIL soap powder and bleach that comes in snot green gallon plastic bottles. It is also a comfort to know that Cillit Bang translates across the language barrier, maybe this is the very country it was designed for because for me its brand name does not really inspire thoughts of a powerful cleaning product.
The haberdashery window is also a delight to behold. Colour coordinated thread and buttons, rickrack edgings and embroidery skeins randomly strewn. And is that a forgotten hoopla I see on the left, a sly reference to the hoopla style of window dressing so religiously observed by this shop? The galleon ships are obviously some abstract reference to rigging and thread, either that or they are just completely random!

I can’t believe you have made us wait so long for another window. Once again it is the winner of the worst window dressers competition. Can we have another one soon please?
I have managed to create a band of followers for the Shop Window postings... they all find it the most amusing part of your blog. I am sure they will enjoy this latest window. I love those ships!!!
Thanks guys, the dark night is a better time to capture these windows with out the glare of the sun behind.
The colors are indeed bright. Who knew those products grouped so would be. It would also be interesting to see the fronts of the buildings to see the town block. I do love those ships, perhaps they represent products from overseas.
I will have a go an snapping the front of the building. They are very small windows, I think you can just see in the top one the sill which the external iron blind/grill locks down onto when the shop is closed like it was Tiffany & Co Jewellers! They take security very seriously here, even for washing powder.
Yes, merchant ships bringing coloured threads form the new world...you could be right.
Kitty! What fabulous window dispalys. I roared out loud.
