The highlight of the galleries was this one, St Ives Ceramics, which we found on Fish Street. It was just an Aladdin’s cave of brilliant pots. The top blue one is of course a Colin Pearson, such a beauty and he was such a nice man too, I met him in 2000 and fell in love instantly. I loved him and will always love his work.Below are some pots of Nic Collins, also breathtaking and I think in the bottom picture there are some of John Jelfs. I can't tell you how good this gallery was I recommend it heartily to the collector and the potter to visit if you can.

Oooo, that top vase is lucious. Thanks for the tour.
It is just lovely seeing the pots at St Ives Ceramics, thanks for the link to the gallery site and for posting the photographs. The really large pot in the bottom photograph is also one of Nic Collins' pots I would guess?
Fascinating that you met Colin Pearson, I have enjoyed photos of his work for a number of years (it would be even better to see some of it in reality of course!!).
All the Best to you, P.
Hi Kitty, the pots to the left on your main picture are by Richard Phethean soon to show at the Zimmer Stewart gallery with Richard Davidson.
I thought they would be a good contrast to the fine realism in Richard's paintings.
Also like the local shop piece!
