A quick post:- I was reminded of this day above when I saw a friends kitchen books and took a hasty photograph. It was because I was just reading Studio Judith’s latest post on her “Book Tree”; a very tall stack. This one is not so much a tree as a thicket, but isn’t it a great idea for knives that need to be kept sharp?

The knives look like they are marking all the favorite recipes.
It is the one at the end that I love, it looks like a weapon rather than a knife!
This kitchen was extraordinary all the storage was in Fortnum and Mason wicker hampers slung under marble tops, very chic but impossible to find anything.
