I have a crazy system of working; I split my life between the South of England and the South of Spain. My pottery is in the suburb Belicena which is 10 km from the centre of Granada. Although it is close, it could be a world away. I have an underground studio to protect the work from the intense heat and a Wi-Fi radio to keep me sane.
Commuting between the two countries works for me, I need to hook into the hustle and bustle of England where I can wallow in easy language, it is here that I design and plan the work to bring back to my idyll.
I am obsessed by my medium; I work along personal lines of creativity where it is usually the mistakes which turn out to be the best pieces. I am exceptionally slow at thinking and I am prone to be influenced by everything and everyone around me.
